Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ

  • Will my new LED indicators require a different relay flasher?

It depends on what was on previously - if you’re going from a stock halogen bulb setup, then in almost every instance you will need to swap out your old relay flasher for a suitable LED relay flasher. Please note that not all LED relay flashers are the same, varying in terms of resistance, frequency and inputs/outputs. In some instances where a highly specific relay flasher is used on your model of motorcycle, it may be more practical to run in-line resistors instead to bring the flash-rate down.

  • Where can I get my parts fitted?

We work closely with a small range of mechanics and fabricators that are our preferred suppliers for fitment and installation. That said, much of the range can be fitted easily with minimal tools and a half handy mate. Whilst any mechanical shop is able to do these sort of jobs, below is a list of high quality individuals who I couldn’t recommend more highly.
    Brisbane - Alex @ Skinny’s Garage
Sydney - Cam @ Deus Ex Machina
Canberra - Edward @ Eom Motorcycles
Melbourne - David @ Das Moto

  • Are Kelpi Exhausts Road-Legal?

This comes down to application every time, dependant on the motorcycle, other intake and exhaust mods, and many other factors. For bikes with catalytic converters still installed, most of the Kelpi pipes will be passable in terms of dB levels. That said, all of our pipes can be fitted with internal mini-cat baffles to reduce the volume or increase backpressure. The Alpha pipe is highly recommended for anyone looking to have a more tame sounding muffler (but only with the baffle in). There are as many different sets of rules as there are regions across the world, and at the end of the day, it’s the rider’s responsibility to comply with relevant local laws.

  • Do you ship internationally?

We now ship internationally via Australia Post - shipping is calculated at checkout depending on region, size and weight. To ship internationally change the destination country from Australia to see the options available to you.

  • Where are your products made?

All over the world! We have suppliers currently across our range based in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Pakistan, China, Taiwan and Japan.

  • How do I fit the custom comfort seats?

You’re welcome to go down the DIY route if you have access to an air powered stapler, ideally running 6mm staples. Follow the demo linked on the seat product page and you shouldn’t have much trouble. A local furniture upholsterer or automotive upholsterer will make short work of it if you would prefer it done professionally, though pricing varies considerably across suppliers.
