YAMAHA R7 COMFORT SEAT TRIM (2022+)
Here it is - our custom comfort seat trims for the Yamaha R7. We've updated the lines of the seat, flowing smoothly into the tank and tail and complimenting the bodywork whilst adding a lot of subtle styling details. From Italian Suedes to American vinyls, and all Australian foams and waxed cotton threads, these custom seat trims are made to order and made by hand in our Brisbane workshop. For the Yamaha R7, we've created options with selected stitches that accentuate the colourways of Yamaha's latest sports bike offering:
Team Yamaha Blue: A royal blue detail accent stitch
Black & Grey Models: A charcoal detail accent stitch
White & Red Models: A red detail accent stitch
Pink & Sky Blue Model: Pink & sky blue twin detail stitches
We've incorporated a black vinyl and a textural faux suede material mix (pulled directly from our 2024 Mt09), twin stitched up in diamonds with a black and charcoal stitch. Comfort improvements are height and weight specific, with shorter riders receiving a 12mm single density insert, and taller/heavier riders receiving a chunkier 24mm dual density comfort insert. The density of the foams used is also set up to the rider weight, with the thresholds at 70kg, 85kg and 100kg. This provides not only a better looking seat, but something you’ll want to sit on for hours on end.
Because we manage everything in-house, we have the opportunity to fulfil custom briefs relatively quickly. If you’ve seen another one of our seats or would like to discuss other options for your R7, please get in touch.
- Sold as a single piece (rider's seat) or twin piece (rider + pillion seat) that replaces the stock seat covers.
- Installation takes 20-30 minutes and can easily be done yourself with an air-powered 6mm staple gun following the video guide.
