YAMAHA R7 FULL STAINLESS EXHAUST SYSTEM (2022-2025)
Refined tone, real performance, and the styling the R7 deserves.
If you’ve ridden your stock R7 for more than ten minutes, you’ve probably noticed the factory exhaust is underwhelming at best—restrictive, heavy, and practically whisper-quiet. Our full stainless Yamaha R7 exhaust system changes that completely.
Designed to bring the CP2’s 270-degree firing order to life, this system significantly increases exhaust flow and shaves over 4kg off the bike’s overall weight. That’s a meaningful improvement in power-to-weight, alongside a throaty exhaust note that feels right at home on the R7. With the option of our shorty, flanker, and alpha mufflers this system doesn’t just unlock performance, it lets you tailor the sound and look to suit your build. Whether you’re chasing a bold track-ready aesthetic or something more refined, we’ve got you covered. Available in raw stainless, with black or bronze Cerakote available on selected models.
Performance & Sound
Each system is tuned to bring out the best of the R7’s CP2 engine—producing a sharper throttle response and a deeper, more characterful tone. All systems come with our standard baffle installed and can be adjusted to suit your setup with our optional Quietcore insert.
No baffle: ~98dB
Standard baffle (included): ~95dB
Quietcore baffle (optional): ~91dB
Construction & Finish Options
Built from TIG-welded 304 stainless steel, every system is hydroformed for ideal exhaust flow, durability, and weight reduction. The Flanker muffler includes a gloss carbon fibre tip and stainless mesh grille, while selected systems are available in black or bronze Cerakote for increased corrosion resistance and stealth styling.
System Weights:
Flanker: 2.93kg
Shorty: 3.07kg
Alpha: 3.15kg
OEM: 7.7kg
Fitment & Installation
Fits all Yamaha R7 models (YZF-R7HO, YZF-R7LA) from 2022–2025
Includes headers, merge collector, muffler, fasteners, springs, baffle, mounting bracket, and heat tape to protect the lower fairings
Full installation can be completed in under an hour with basic hand tools
Tuning Guidance
No ECU flash is required when using the system with the included Standard baffle. If you're running no baffle and pairing the exhaust with a high-flow airbox or filter, we recommend ECU tuning for optimal performance.
Why Choose Us
Fully designed and tested on the CP2 platform
4.7kg lighter than the stock exhaust
3 sound profiles with swappable baffles
Hand-built 304 stainless construction
Flanker option includes a carbon fibre tip and mesh grill
Cerakote options available for stealth or custom finishes
Includes heat tape, hardware, and everything you need to install
Real-world support and install advice from riders who’ve done it
Customisation & Support
Every build is different, and we’re here to help make sure yours looks and performs exactly how you want it to. All of our exhausts are assembled and supported locally, with Cerakote finish options available on selected systems for those chasing a cleaner or more aggressive visual. If you're unsure about fitment, finish selection, or sound profile, just send us an email and we'll get you sorted.

Installation instructions:
- Disconnect the O2 sensor at the cable connection, this requires the frame side cover to be taken off and the connection is obvious by following up from the O2 sensor bung on the stock exhaust
- Unbolt the two rear stock muffler mounting bolts that sit beneath your foot pegs on both sides with a 12mm socket with extender arm bar and joint
- Use that same tool to unbolt the header flanges mounting exhaust system to motor
- Slip the kelpi headers onto the 2-1 merge collector and attach the springs to clamp them together
- Place the headers onto the motor outlets (ensure the exhaust gaskets don’t fall out) and screw the flange nuts back on a couple of turns (but not torqued) so that the headers won’t fall off over the fitment
- Bolt the included S bend bracket onto the right side rear stock muffler mounting point (snug but not torqued to allow the bracket to rotate still), noting that this will bend into place once tightened on the muffler side
- Slip the muffler onto the merge collector and place the muffler in the desired position (some prefer directly under the footpeg, others like it to sit in as close to the swingarm as possible)
- Rotate the s bend bracket so that a bolt can fit from the muffler through the S bend bracket (though the angle may not be instantly aligned) and tighten the bolt as S bend bracket shifts into alignment
- Once the rear mount is torqued, add springs from the muffler to merge collector
- Torque the engine header flange nuts at the top of the exhaust system
- Screw the O2 sensor into the new exhaust system and reconnect the plug on the other end of the O2 sensor
