Yamaha MT-07 (2014-2017) Comfort Seat Trim
Designed specifically for the first-generation Yamaha MT-07 (2014-2017), our custom comfort seat trim enhances both rider comfort and styling while increasing the durability of the stock seat unit. Offered in small-batch runs, each seat cover is handcrafted in Brisbane, Australia, using premium automotive materials to deliver exceptional fit and finish.
Improved Comfort
Unlike many seat designs that allow for minimal foam adjustment before impacting the bike’s visual profile, our MT-07 trim allows for a full 24mm of dual-density foam layering. This results in a significant increase in comfort and extended ride time without sacrificing aesthetics. With the stock foam depth sitting under 50mm, this redesign transforms the feel of the seat, reducing pressure points and keeping you comfortable on long rides. Shorter riders can opt for a 12mm single-layer insert, allowing for a lower profile without the need to sacrifice cushioning.

Fitment & Installation
This trim is designed to fit the Yamaha MT-07 first generation models (2014-2017) as a set of covers, replacing both the rider and pillion seats. Installation takes approximately 15 minutes and can be done yourself with an air-powered 6mm staple gun. For those less inclined to install themselves, local upholsterers can provide professional fitting for a small fee. We tend to love this option, as you’ll get perfect fitment whilst also getting an unbiased professional opinion on the quality of upholstery that we do. Since we started Kelpi, we’re yet to hear of any trimmer who hasn’t been impressed by our work.
