TRIUMPH 675 STREET TRIPLE / DAYTONA SLIP-ON EXHAUST (2013-2016)
Coming out of the factory, the Triumph Daytona and Street Triple’s exhaust note is barely audible, being completely overpowered by their trademark induction whir. Replacing the stock muffler with one of our free flowing slip-on exhaust systems drops weight, improves top end performance, and provides that classic deep burbling note that the middleweight triple’s have become known for. Install instructions below.
- Includes link pipe, springs, removable baffle insert and muffler selection also including muffler mounting hardware.
- The Kelpi Flanker muffler is recommended for the Triumph triples, giving your bike a lighter, louder and slightly deeper note
- Exhaust system install with removal of the stock system can be done in 10 minutes with basic tools (HEX set, sockets & wrenches etc)
Installation instructions:
- remove your existing muffler via the rear mounting piece
- slip the link pipe onto the existing header outlet, tighten clamp but ensure there is still play as adjustment will be required
- bolt the included S bend bracket onto the right side rear stock muffler mounting point (snug but not torqued to allow the bracket to rotate still), noting that this will bend into place once tightened on the muffler side
- slip the muffler onto the link pipe and place the muffler in the desired position (some prefer directly under the footpeg, others like it to sit in as close to the swingarm as possible)
- rotate the s bend bracket so that a bolt can fit from the muffler through the S bend bracket (though the angle may not be instantly aligned) and tighten the bolt as S bend bracket shifts into alignment
- once the rear mount is torqued, add springs from the muffler to merge collector
- torque the clamp and the rear bracket
