HUSQVARNA 401 SLIP-ON EXHAUST SYSTEM (2020-2023)
It’s time to swap out the heavy, restrictive factory pipe on your Svartpilen/Vitpilen 401 with our lightweight, free-flowing and retro leaning Shorty slip-on system. With a balanced exhaust note that’s present without being obnoxious, our shorty slip on system is easy to fit up, easy to live with, and easy on the eyes as well!
The shorty provides better mid range and top end performance as a direct swap against the stock unit, and brings the motor to life with a tasteful, yet noticeably more aggressive exhaust note. Our system comes with everything you need to install the system in under 10 minutes with basic garage tools, and once it’s on, you’ll ask yourself why you waited this long to do the pipe on your 401. The kit includes link pipe, springs, fasteners, graphite exhaust gasket and muffler.
Another option for the horsepower enthusiasts chasing that perfect head-turning note, our Flanker short pipe is a carbon tipped, grilled out pipe ideal for bikes with a craving for carbon. Featuring a vapour blasted stainless finish for class-leading durability and corrosion resistance, the Flanker contains our Kelpi standard 5-layer internals consisting of layers of perforated tubing, steel mesh, fibreglass and cotton gauze wrapped in a high grade 304 stainless. The Flanker produces a deeper, raspier note.
Installation Instructions:
remove your existing muffler via the rear mount & header clamp
slip the link pipe onto the existing header outlet, tighten clamp but ensure there is still play as adjustment will be required
slip the Shorty or Flanker muffler onto the link and rotate the link until the muffler is sitting flush with the stock muffler hanger. Bolt it on, attach the springs, tighten your clamp and you’re done!
