Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 Comfort Seat Trim – A Sleek, Custom Upgrade
The Husqvarna 401 is one of the sharpest-looking lightweight bikes on the market, but the stock seat leaves a lot to be desired in both comfort and character. Our custom seat trim refines both, adding premium styling while significantly improving ride-ability. Designed to enhance long-distance comfort for both rider and pillion, each seat trim is tailored with variable-density foam inlays, adjusted to the rider’s weight for a custom, dialled-in feel.
Design & Styling
Offered in two signature styles, our 401 seat trims blend seamlessly with the bike’s modern aesthetic:
Nullarbor – A distressed brown twin-stitched diamond design, complementing the bronze engine casing and black frame with a classic, rugged feel.
Oxley – A black suede twin-stitched diamond design for a stealthier, modern black-on-black finish.
Design & Craftsmanship
Each seat is handcrafted using a collection of high end materials that we have chosen and sourced globally, creating a world class trail of provenance unseen amongst our competitors.

Fitment & Installation
Sold as a rider and pillion stock cover replacement installation takes approximately 15 minutes and can be done yourself with an air-powered 6mm staple gun. For those less inclined to install themselves, local upholsterers can provide professional fitting for a small fee. We tend to love this option, as you’ll get perfect fitment whilst also getting an unbiased professional opinion on the quality of upholstery that we do. Since we started Kelpi, we’re yet to hear of any trimmer who hasn’t been impressed by our work.
