YAMAHA MT07 COMFORT SEAT TRIM (2018-2024)
The Kelpi MT07 Comfort Seat Trim is designed to refine both the look and feel of your bike, enhancing comfort while giving the MT07 a more seamless, custom aesthetic. These covers are crafted in small-batch runs, ensuring a high level of detail and quality control.
Unlike many of our custom trims, which allow for only 12mm of foam before visually impacting the seat, the MT07’s deeper stock foam enables us to add 24mm of dual-density foam without compromising the seat’s profile. A 12mm medium-density foam layer is topped with 12mm soft-density foam, stitched into the trim to enhance long-distance comfort. The foam density is adjusted to the rider’s weight, ensuring an optimally tailored feel. Due to the softer densities of the middle and top layers, this modification adds approximately 15mm of ride height, which riders should consider when ordering.
Upholstery Styling
All Black Rib Stitched – A sleek, understated design with black two-tone suede and vinyl, paired with a modern ribbed insert and black stitching. This timeless option suits any MT07 colourway.
Cyan Diamonds – Created for MT07s with cyan wheels, featuring a cyan twin-stitched diamond insert to complement the factory styling.
Yamaha Blu Cru Diamonds – A nod to classic Yamaha blue, this design incorporates a royal blue twin-stitched diamond insert to match Yamaha’s racing DNA.

Each seat is handcrafted using a collection of high end materials that we have chosen and sourced globally, creating a world class trail of provenance unseen amongst our competitors.

Installation & Fitment
Installation is straightforward and can be completed in about 15 minutes using an air-powered 6mm staple gun. We provide a full video installation guide to walk you through the process step by step.For those less inclined to install themselves, local upholsterers can provide professional fitting for a small fee. We tend to love this option, as you’ll get perfect fitment whilst also getting an unbiased professional opinion on the quality of upholstery that we do. Since we started Kelpi, we’re yet to hear of any trimmer who hasn’t been impressed by our work.
