YAMAHA MT07 COMFORT SEAT TRIM (2018-2024)
Specific to the Yamaha MT07, our seat covers offer huge visual bang for buck whilst increasing the durability and comfort of the stock seat unit. These covers, offered in small-batch runs of specific colours and inserts, are all handmade in Brisbane using top quality automotive fabrics and threads. The updated lines of our seat cover flow into the tank and subframe.
Unlike many of our custom trims which only allow for 12mm worth of foam to be added before the seat is impacted visually, our MT07 designs across both generations of seats allow for these dual density inserts, and the improvement on comfort is remarkable. A 12mm medium density foam layer and an additional 12mm soft density foam layer are compressed and stitched into the rider’s seat to increase comfort on the road, and we modify the density of the foam layers to suit the rider’s weight. Given the depth on the stock foam is under 50mm, the addition of 24mm of dual density foam adds considerable comfort and added ride time between stops. Due to the softer densities of the middle and top layers, this adds roughly 15mm of ride height to the bike.
2018+ selection is for all MT07’s from 2018 up to 2024; this seat has not changed over that period.
Sold as a set of covers that replace the stock rider and pillion seat covers.
Installation takes 15 minutes and can easily be done yourself with an air-powered 6mm staple gun following this video guide.

Upholstery Styling
All Black Rib Stitched: Black two-tone suede and vinyl with black stitch in a short modern ribbed insert, this design offers a classic upgrade that works on every MT, pulling colour out of the equation and letting the lines and textures do the talking.
Cyan Diamonds: Specific to the MT07’s with Cyan wheels, this design runs a cyan diamond twin stitched insert.
Yamaha Blu Cru Diamonds: Pairing to the classic Yamaha blue models, this design features a royal blue twin stitched diamond insert.
